Welcome to “SFCC Alert” – SFCC's service for emergency and weather alerts to students, faculty, staff and community members. SFCC Alert can send timely notifications in case of an emergency or weather delays/closures to you via text, email, the SFCC website and social media. SFCC Alert requires no installation of hardware or software.
- It is as easy as providing your name, email, password, mobile number (optional) and then confirming your mobile carrier.
- Once registered, you will receive a welcome email with a confirmation link.
- When you confirm your email address, you will be prompted to confirm your mobile number (if provided during registration).
- Now you can edit your options to receive alerts via text message - up to 3 different mobile numbers; email - up to 3 different addresses, and on up to 3 land lines.
Please note: Your contact information will not be transferred from a previous alert system to SFCC Alert. To receive alert messages, you must be registered through Rave.

Rave does not charge subscribers to send or receive text messages. Standard or other messaging charges apply depending upon your wireless carrier plan and subscription details. If you'd like to avoid messaging charges, you can sign up without providing a mobile phone number or once registered, you can opt out of text messages at any time by texting STOP to 67283 or 226787
