Welcome to the EVMS emergency alert notification system.
Please note that you are automatically enrolled in Rave upon arriving at EVMS. If you provided a mobile number in your paperwork, your account will automatically be set up. Your Rave account credentials are your network username and password. You can use these credentials to verify your information.
It is recommended that all changes to the Rave accounts be submitted through Human Resources for Faculty/Staff and the Registrar’s Office for Students. This option will update your contact information in both places as Rave is automatically updated every evening from both the Human Resources system and Student Information System.
If you decide to alter your info inside the Rave application, your account will no longer link up with the Human Resources system or Student Information System. Your Rave account then becomes your responsibility to maintain. You will forevermore have to update your info in both systems for consistency.
We currently offer The application works in two ways:
: Set a one-touch panic button on any cell phone. As your phone speed-dials EVMS Police, it triggers an alarm and automatically sends them critical profile information (including your name and photo).
: Activate a timer on any cell phone before walking across campus. When you reach your destination safely, deactivate it. If the timer is not deactivated (but instead expires), EVMS Police will call to make sure you are OK.
